Evasive Steering Assist is a feature found on certain Ford vehicles. The system activates when a driver comes upon a slower or stopped vehicle suddenly.
If the distance to that vehicle isn’t too short and a collision can’t be avoided by braking alone, Evasive Steering Assist will help drivers maneuver around the obstacle by providing additional steering support when the effort the driver is applying is not sufficient enough.
