This system assists the driver in keeping the vehicle in its intended lane and on its intended path. With the forward-facing camera, the system detects and monitors lane markings to the right and left of the vehicle.
If the vehicle strays from the lane, the system provides the driver with audio and visual warnings. Some systems will also gently counter-steer the car back toward the intended path.
